This feature request has been discussed here 3 years ago, but the thread is closed, and I wonder whether there is any interest for this now? Some apps implement icons as widgets to run certain commands. I though this may be very suitable for Syncthing-Fork on Android: just press the icon to force running Syncthing now, then revert back to normal mode. At least I would find this useful: I have Syncthing-Fork run very sporadically to save battery, but would like to easily force sync when needed.
