The​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ incident began on April 25, when Megan Thee Stallion accused Thompson of cheating via an Instagram post, and later confirmed the breakup in a formal statement, saying that trust and fidelity were non-negotiables for her.

After that the people online started accusing Brown of being the “third” woman who allegedly ruined the relationship. A practice video from 2022 resurfaced, and the fans linked it to Klay and Lexi Brown.

On the very same day, Brown rushed to dismiss all the rumors. She said on her Instagram Stories that it was all lies and that she was not involved at all. She even mentioned that she only recognized Thompson as a professional athlete, and did not know him as a friend; and also claimed that she had no relationship whatsoever with Megan.

The lack of response from both Megan and Thompson only made the situation worse. Brown openly criticized them for not intervening to clear her name, and disclosed that she had been receiving death threats to the point where she needed to hire personal security. So far none of them have commented on it.
