Earlier this week, the Miami Heat played the Charlotte Hornets (in North Carolina) for the play-in tournament.
The Heat lost (in overtime) by a score of 127-126.
Despite the season-ending loss, Tyler Herro finished with 23 points, three rebounds and six assists while shooting 7/18 from the field and 3/6 from three-point range in 34 minutes of playing time.

On Thursday, the Heat held exit interviews.
That said, Herro did not speak to the media.
Ira Winderman of Sun Sentinel wrote: “Tyler Herro and Nikola Jovic among those declining Heat exit interviews today at season-ending media session.”

Herro has now played seven seasons in the NBA (all with Miami).
He finished this year with averages of 20.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists per contest while shooting 48.0% from the field and 37.8% from three-point range in 33 games.

Looking At Miami
The Heat have made the NBA Finals twice since the 2020 season.
That said, they have had two tough finishes since trading Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors.
In 2025, the Heat got swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
There is no question they will be one of the most intriguing teams to watch this summer.
