On Thursday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers will be in Canada to play the Toronto Raptors for Game 3 of their first-round playoff series.

The Cavs have a 2-0 lead in the series after taking both games at home.

Most recently, they won by a score of 115-105.

Donovan Mitchell led the way with 30 points.

After missing the first two games of the series, the Cavs have announced that Thomas Bryant will be listed as questionable for Game 3.

Danny Cunningham of Locked On Cavs wrote: “#Cavs list Thomas Bryant (calf) as questionable for tomorrow’s Game 3 against the Toronto Raptors. He’s the only injury listed.”

Bryant is in his first year playing for the franchise.

He is coming off a solid regular season where he had averages of 6.2 points and 3.4 rebounds per contest while shooting 50.6% from the field and 35.9% from three-point range in 60 games.

ESPN’s Shams Charania wrote (on September 23): “Free agent center Thomas Bryant has agreed to a one-year deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Mark Bartelstein and Zach Kurtin of @PrioritySports tell ESPN. Bryant played a key reserve role on the Indiana Pacers‘ second half run to the Finals and now enters his ninth NBA season.”

After two seasons at Indiana University, Bryant was picked was picked 42nd in the 2017 NBA Draft.

He has also had stints with the Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets, Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat and Washington Wizards over nine years.

The 28-year-old has career averages of 8.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per contest while shooting 57.3% from the field and 34.8% from three-point range in 393 games.

The Cavs are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference after going 52-30 during the regular season.

They are 25-16 in the 41 games they have played on the road away from Ohio.

Last season, the Cavs lost to the Indiana Pacers in the second round of the 2025 NBA playoffs (in five games).

Whoever wins this series will play either the Detroit Pistons or Orlando Magic.
