On Thursday night, the New York Knicks played the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena for Game 6 of their first-round playoff series.

The Knicks won by a score of 140-89.

They are now headed to the second round.

Josh Hart finished the closeout win with 14 points, five rebounds and two assists while shooting 6/10 from the field and 2/4 from three-point range in 27 minutes of playing time.

After the huge win, Hart sent out a post (via X) that had over 13,000 likes in less than thrree hours.

He wrote: “🧡💙🧡💙”

Hart has been a huge contributor to the Knicks since joining the franchise in 2023.

He finished this season with averages of 12.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 50.8% from the field and 41.3% from three-point range in 66 games.

Looking Ahead For New York

The Knicks are the third seed in the Eastern Conference after goin 53-29 during the regular season.

They will now await the winner of the series between the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers.

Last season, the Knicks reached the Eastern Conference finals for the first time in 25 years.
