Former NBA player Evan Turner had a rather hilarious reaction to the news of Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion ending their relationship.
“I’m sorry Klay Thompson, I wasn’t familiar with your game,” Turner wrote on X.

Turner was referring to the “player” label Thompson had garnered after Megan Thee Stallion accused him of cheating on her during their relationship.
The rapper issued the following statement to TMZ:
“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay.
“Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”
Megan doubled down on the accusations on social media.
“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house…
got “cold feet”
Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be “monogamous”????
b**ch I need a REAL break after this one ..
bye yall”
Thompson and Megan took their relationship public in July 2025. They subsequently made several red-carpet appearances and spent holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas together.
“Oh, we met and it was such a meet cute it was like a f-cking movie,” Megal told People last year.
“I won’t tell you how and I won’t tell you when, but it was a movie.”
“That he’s the nicest person I’ve ever met in my life,” she added.
She also received a seal of approval from Thompson’s father, Mycal Thompson, after she showcased her cooking skills this past Thanksgiving.
“Thanksgiving dinner was the best Thanksgiving food I’ve ever eaten,” Mycal told ESPN Los Angeles last November.
“Megan Thee Stallion should be Megan Thee Chef. That’s how good the food was. It was unbelievable. It was one of the best thanksgivings we’ve ever had, thanks to Megan.”
Thompson, 36, will enter the final season of his contract with the Dallas Mavericks in the 2026-27 campaign. He averaged career lows in points (11.7), minutes (21.4), field goal percentage (.393) and 3P% (.383) this past season.
