There is, seemingly, a double standard for Tom Brady as a broadcaster and part owner. Now, it appears that has created an opportunity to cheat.
Tom Brady turned a comedy roast into a New York Knicks moment, and the timing made it hit even harder.
On Netflix’s live roast of Kevin Hart, Brady showed up with a custom Knicks jersey and immediately tied the joke to a night that felt tailor-made for New York fans.
The setup landed because the Knicks had just completed a sweep of the 76ers, giving the gag an extra layer of Philadelphia pain.
He opened by mocking Hart for hosting another roast in the same venue: “Have you even left the Forum? Or have you just been here screaming into that mic the last two years, waiting for daddy to come home?” He then pulled out a child-sized New York Knicks jersey, handed it to Hart, and calmly stated, “That’s newborn size. Alright, sit down. Hobbit.”
The Knicks joke wasn’t random. Hart is a proud Philadelphia native and lifelong 76ers fan and on that very same day, the Knicks had finished off the Sixers in a brutal four-game sweep in the first round of the 2026 NBA Playoffs.
Brady’s Knicks-themed roast moment quickly took over social media after fans connected the joke
