The 7-foot center took to Facebook to share his thoughts, writing that he was “lost in the world at the moment” and had a gut feeling that something bad was coming, posting, “Knew something was gone happen. The message came as a reply to his own earlier post, where he had written, “Trying so hard to stay calm,” revealing a man visibly struggling to hold himself together as the pressure of the postseason mounted.

With the Knicks leading by an astonishing 50 points in the first half, frustrations in Atlanta reached a boiling point. Hawks guard Dyson Daniels threw an extra elbow into Robinson’s chest while jostling for free-throw rebound position, and things escalated instantly.

Players from both benches poured onto the court, a referee and a security guard were knocked to the floor, and a massive scrum unfolded in front of the State Farm Arena crowd.
