Sports Business Journal's Ben Fischer reported the Minnesota Vikings are the favorites to host the 2028 NFL Draft.

The 2026 NFL Draft has concluded, and we now have a sense of the future for these Minnesota Vikings.

This year, they didn’t have a technical full-time general manager at the helm for the event. These duties were given to Rob Brzezinski, who has been with the team since 1999 in behind-the-scenes roles.

Have a look at their official 2026 NFL Draft class.

Now, these young gentlemen have found out what number they will be wearing during their tenure with the Vikings.

Vikings Announce Numbers for 2026 NFL Draft Class

Take a look at the numbers for the new men on the Minnesota Vikings.

  • IDL Caleb Banks – 95 (last worn by Jaylon Hutchings in 2026)
  • LB Jake Golday – 41 (last worn by Kobe King in 2025)
  • IDL Domonique Orange – 97 (last worn by Javon Hargrave in 2025)
  • OL Caleb Tiernan – 78 (last worn by Ryan Kelly in 2025)
  • DB Jakobe Thomas – 8 (last worn by Jeff Okudah in 2025)
  • FB/TE Max Bredesen – 45 (last worn by Jordan Kunaszyk in 2024)
  • DB Charles Demmings – 20 (last worn by Jay Ward in 2024)
  • RB Demond Claiborne – 21 (last worn by Akayleb Evans in 2024)
  • OL Gavin Gerheardt – 58 (last worn by Jonathan Greenard in 2025)

You know the old adage; look good, play good. It’s common now in today’s league for these numbers to change later into careers. However, these will be the numbers sported by the rookie class in 2026.

Demond Claiborne becomes the first Vikings RB to wear #21 since Jerick McKinnon. Caleb Banks also becomes the third-consecutive defensive lineman drafted in the first down by the Vikings to wear #95 in his rookie year, joining Sharrif Floyd and Kenechi Udeze.

Charles Demmings becomes the 8th-consecutive Vikings DB to wear the #20. The last non-DB to wear #20 in Minnesota was RB Moe Williams in 2005.
