According to TMZ, Daniel — who previously co-hosted “Scoops City” alongside Russini — addressed the ongoing attention surrounding the story during Thursday’s episode of “The Jim Rome Show.”

“Look, that’s something that’s unfortunate in many different ways,” Daniel said. “We haven’t really chatted about it. We haven’t done any of that, so I’m going to leave that there. That’s their business.”

The former NFL quarterback made clear he was not claiming to have inside knowledge beyond what had already surfaced publicly.

Both Vrabel and Russini have previously addressed the situation publicly following the initial wave of coverage earlier this spring.
