Save-the-date notices have already gone out to invited guests confirming the ceremony date, but the invitations contain a conspicuous omission. Not the wedding date, not the logistics, but the one thing guests actually need to show up is still being withheld.

“There’s a date — but no venue,” one insider told Rob Shuter for a report on his Naughty But Nice insider newsletter. “And that’s completely intentional.”

Guests will not find out where to show up until shortly before the event begins.

Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025, sharing the news on Instagram with the caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” Kelce had proposed at his home in Leawood, Kansas, following the recording of Swift’s first-ever podcast appearance on New Heights, the show he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, according to ClutchPoints writer Autumn Hawkins.

The July 3 date carries its own Swift-coded significance. Earlier reporting by RadarOnline.com indicated that private SWAT team-style units are being factored into the security blueprint as a genuine operational necessity. Layered perimeters, restricted entry zones, and rapid-response teams are all part of the planning calculus, sources told the celebrity news site.

The security concerns intensified after the wedding date leaked publicly. Swift was described as “on edge” following that disclosure, per reporter Aaron Tinney of OK! USA.
