Aaron Anderson of the Louisiana State Tigers has signed with the Cleveland Browns.

The Cleveland Browns have made their intentions clear in the last few days, and though it is not a surprise to see the team take the path it has chosen–addressing the glaring holes on the offensive line and in the wide receiver room–it still is striking to see how disciplined the front office has been in sticking with that approach.

Now, after the draft, the Browns have continued down the same path, seeking help wherever they can find it. In that vein, the team added three new wide receivers to the mix as undrafted free agents.

It may be that none of the three UDFA candidates stick on the final roster, but given the lack of depth at the position–even after the drafting of KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston–there’s a good shot at least one will make the roster or the practice squad. Each of the three has some useful traits that could get them noticed.

The three:

• WR Aaron Anderson, 5-foot-8, 198 pounds , LSU.
• WR Ja’Naylon Dupree,  5-foot-6, 157 pounds, Jackson State.
• WR Kole Wilson – 5-foot-7, 177 pounds, Baylor.

Browns’ Aaron Anderson Could Be One to Watch

For the Browns, Anderson might be the best UDFA bet to make the roster, as he had a very good sophomore season at LSU, with 61 catches and 884 yards receiving. But the Tigers struggled as a whole in 2025, with quarterback Garrett Nussmeier dealing with injuries and Anderson, too, missing four games with injuries to his knee, elbow and toe.

But his previous season gives some hope that, with good health, Anderson could thrive.

From his NFL.com scouting report: “Anderson is a short but stocky slot receiver with good speed but below-average hands. Injuries and quarterback play slowed his production in 2025, so a heavier dose of 2024 tape is needed for his evaluation. His routes are rhythmic and fairly disciplined, but he fails to create enough separation from his break points. He has the play strength to compete for the contested throws he’s likely to see against tight press man. Anderson has the talent and toughness NFL teams like to see, but his lack of size/explosiveness could make it challenging for him to earn a spot as a backup.”

Plenty of Other UDFAs Added

The Browns have also made other additions through the undrafted free-agent process, and it is worth noting that players can back out of these deals in the coming days if they get better offers. But the Browns added two running backs (TJ Harden and Davon Booth), as well as offensive tackle Izavion Miller from Auburn.

The Browns also added eight UDFAs on the defensive side, including three defensive ends–Logan Fano, the brother of first-round pick Spencer Fano, Tyreak Sapp and Khordae Sydnor. They signed one tackle, Bernard Gooden, also from LSU.

Additionally, the Browns signed three cornerbacks (Nate Evans, DeCarlos Nicholson and Michael Coats Jr.) and safety Zion Washington.

The Browns will begin their rookie minicamp, which will include the 10 players they drafted this season, in Barea from May 8-10.
