We will know the schedule John Harbaugh's Giants will face on May 14.

The 2026 NFL season is still months away, but New York Giants fans are chomping at the bit to get it going under first-year head coach John Harbaugh.

So the NFL’s announcement that it will release the full 288-game schedule May 14 is especially exciting for Giants fans, since they will know all the details very soon.

The Giants are coming off a 4-13 season where they started 0-3 and ended up with the No. 5 overall pick. They had the most difficult schedule, by 2024 win percentage, and played eight 2025 playoff teams and finished with a 2-6 record.

The NFL Will Announce All Team Schedules May 14

The Giants aren’t the only team to learn their scheduling fate next week. The NFL will continue its schedule-reveal spectacle by first unveiling the nine international games on “Good Morning Football” on May 13.

The Giants have reportedly been tabbed to play a  “home” game abroad in 2026, likely in Munich, Germany, where they have exclusive marketing rights through the 2029 season.

The Giants already played a game in Munich, where they lost to the Carolina Panthers 20-17 in overtime Nov. 10, 2024.

Big Blue’s schedule may leak throughout the day Thursday, and some intrepid fans may know the entire week-by-week slate before the league officially unveils the full slate of games with a show at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN, ESPN2, NFL Network, NFL+ and the ESPN app.

Two games have already been confirmed by the league, since the San Francisco 49ers will take on the Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne, Australia on Sept. 10, and the Dallas Cowboys will take on the Baltimore Ravens in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil on Sept. 27.

Aside from the games in Australia, Brazil and Germany, the NFL will host its usual three games in London, plus individual games in Madrid, Paris and Mexico City. The games in Paris and Melbourne will be the first NFL regular-season games ever contested in those places.

We Already Know the Giants’ 2026 Opponents

The Giants could be in line to play the NFL season-opening game, against the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday, Sept. 9, since they are slated to play at Lumen Field this year.

The NFL typically likes to schedule a playoff rematch or rivalry game for the season-opening, banner-raising game. But the Seahawks’ rivals, the Rams and Niners, are going to be playing Week 1 in Australia, and the Giants do have some national-TV buzz thanks to Harbaugh’s arrival as head coach.

But even though we don’t know when the Giants will play each game, we certainly know who they will be facing. Jaxson Dart and Co. will, of course, play home and road games against the Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders.

Aside from the Seahawks, Commanders, Cowboys and Eagles, the Giants will play road games against the Rams, Detroit Lions, Houston Texans as well as Daniel Jones and the Indianapolis Colts.

Outside of their divisional home games, the Giants will take on the 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans. The chances are good for one of the games against the Cardinals, Saints and Titans to be held in Munich.
