Taylor Swift made a notable appearance in New York City on April 27, wearing jewelry tied to her fiancee Travis Kelce, as new reports claim that save-the-date cards for their impending nuptials have reportedly gone out. The outing comes months after the couple announced their engagement in August 2025.

Taylor Swift Honors Travis Kelce With Opal Jewelry

During her outing, Swift wore opal jewelry, including a bracelet and ring, which were reportedly once owned by Elizabeth Taylor, along with her engagement ring. She paired the accessories with a blue-and-white striped dress, diamond hoop earrings, and a bright yellow handbag.

Swift has previously explained the significance of opal and its connection to Kelce while discussing her song “Opalite” during an interview with the U.K.’s Capital FM radio station.

“He loves that one,” Swift said. “I have favorite words, favorite phrases [and] things I’ll put in an endless file of lyrics that I’m constantly going to go and cherry-pick from when I’m writing.”

She added context about the stone’s meaning.

“I had learned that it’s actually a man-made opal. Opal can be man-made just like diamonds, and so, Travis’ birthstone is an opal. I’ve always fixated on that, [and] I’ve always loved that stone.”

Swift continued, “I thought it was kind of a cool metaphor that, like, it’s a man-made opal and happiness can also be man-made, too. That’s what the song is about, the juxtaposition of those two.”

Save-the-Dates Have Reportedly Been Sent Out

Reports about Swift and Kelce’s wedding have surfaced as their engagement continues. According to Page Six, save-the-date notices have already been sent to invited guests.

The reported wedding date is July 3 in New York City, though key details remain undisclosed.

“There’s a date — but no venue,” an insider told Rob Shuter for his “Naughty But Nice” newsletter. “And that’s completely intentional.”

Sources cited privacy and security as the reason for withholding details.

“If the location got out early, it would turn into a circus,” the insider said. “Details won’t be shared until the very last minute.”

Another source added that even invited guests may not yet know the full plan.

“The truth is, no one knows exactly where it will be yet. Not even the guests.”

“They want total control — and total privacy,” the insider continued. “It’s very Taylor. Meticulous, controlled — and just a little mysterious.”

Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Wedding Could be Full of Family and Famous Faces

Family is expected to play a major role on the guest list, with both Swift and Kelce likely including their parents and brothers among the VIP attendees. Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, is widely rumored to serve as best man, and his daughters Wyatt and Elliotte are potential picks for flower girl duties. Depending on timing, younger daughter Bennett could also be part of the ceremony.

On Travis’ side, there’s speculation that several Kansas City Chiefs players could make the guest list. He previously served as a groomsman in Patrick Mahomes’ 2022 wedding to Brittany Mahomes, prompting expectations that at least some teammates—and possibly head coach Andy Reid—would be in attendance. He’s also expected to include close friends from his longtime circle.

As for Taylor, longtime friend Abigail Anderson is rumored to be on the guest list, along with Selena Gomez, who remains one of her closest inner-circle friends.
