Lions fans will love what Amon-Ra St. Brown has in store for 2026.

The Detroit Lions know that they have something special on the offensive side of the ball with wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, one of the best players in the NFL at his respective position.

One of the top targets for quarterback Jared Goff, St. Brown once again electrified Lions fans and finished the recently-completed 2025 NFL campaign with 117 receptions for 1,401 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in 17 games.

His 11 receiving touchdowns were tied for second overall in the NFL, while his 117 receptions were fifth overall – and the good news is that the sky is the limit for what he can accomplish further down in his career.

While he earns plenty of attention for what he’s able to do on the field, he’s earning some special recognition for his work off the field as well with a well-deserved honor from the NFL Players Association.

Detroit Lions Wide Receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown Is The 2026 NFLPA Community MVP

As announced by the NFLPA on Twitter, formerly known as X, Lions wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown has been named this season’s NFLPA Community MVP because of his extensive work in the greater Detroit community.

“As a part of his back-to-school community series to support students at Durfee Elementary-Middle School, the Lions WR donated hundreds of school supplies and hosted an event for students facing life-altering challenges. Through his St. Brown Foundation, students enjoyed a special dinner and had the opportunity to twin with St. Brown with matching blue hairstyles,” the NFLPA explained.

Meanwhile, St. Brown expressed his gratitude at being able to make a big difference in the lives of those in the area.

“It means a lot to me to be able to create moments like this for these kids and their families. I’m grateful we could come together to give them a day they’ll always remember.” – Amon-Ra St. Brown

It’s always a wonderful thing to see professional athletes get involved in making a difference for those who aren’t as fortunate in their communities, and St. Brown has clearly taken his charitable endeavors to the next level.

St. Brown Will Use The Sting Of Not Making The Playoffs As Motivation For Next Season

Despite earning a third straight winning record, the Lions saw their two-year reign atop the NFC North Division come to a close this past season.

Unfortunately, that title now belongs to former Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and the Chicago Bears. The Lions also missed the postseason for the first time since 2023.

However, St. Brown and the Lions plan on using the sting of having not made the playoffs as fuel for next season.

“It hurts. But we didn’t do enough. We didn’t make enough plays and win enough games. We don’t deserve to be in the playoffs,” St. Brown said. “That’s just the way it is. We didn’t do enough.

“So, hopefully it does sting. The thing for us is we get back here in offseason workouts and training camp that we’re even hungrier than we’ve ever been and hopefully that propels us into next year.”
