Met Gala 2026 Dress Code Revealed
Live from New York, it's Marcello Hernández at Met Gala 2026.
The Saturday Night Live star was dressed to impress for his first-ever appearance at the famed fundraiser, which was themed "Costume Art" in honor of the exhibit of the same name with a recommended dress code of "Fashion Is Art."
Stepping out at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 4, Marcello looked suave like his recurring character Domingo in a black suit decorated with safety pins by Thom Browne.
Meanwhile, his girlfriend Ana Amelia Batlle Cabral matched his 'fit with a black strapless gown featuring a sweetheart neckline and feathers. (Click here to see all the celebrity fashion.)
But despite having four SNL seasons and a Netflix stand-up special under his belt, the comedian is still adjusting to the glitz and glamour of fame.
"It’s hard to tell yourself, like, 'You’re supposed to be here,'" Marcello told Esquire last year. “No matter how hard you’ve worked, if you come from a hard enough circumstance or past, there were many moments where this didn’t seem like a possibility."
He continued, "So all this stuff is wild, man."
That's why the 28-year-old prefers to lay low.
"Sometimes I get home from writer’s night and play a little bit of FIFA on my Xbox," he shared in a 2025 interview with Vogue, "and then I feel like I’m in a different world for a second."
Marcello is also quite private about his love life, though he did sing the praises of his girlfriend Ana earlier this year.

"She's unreal," the Happy Gilmore 2 actor raved to E! News in a February interview. "She's a good person.”
Sharing how the Yale graduate has "great taste," he continued, "She loves her family. She's obviously well educated. Has manners, ‘please and thank you.'"
Marcello added, "She's a good person."
