Dr. Dre and The Valley's Michelle Saniei Spark Romance Rumors With L.A. Outing
Danny Booko isn't proud of his actions.
The Valley star issued a public apology to his wife Nia Sanchez after facing backlash for his behavior towards her during the Bravo reality series' May 20 episode.
"To the person I love most, my beautiful wife, I am so sorry," Danny wrote on Instagram Stories following the episode. "Watching these last few episodes back hasn't been easy. It was a difficult season of life and a version of myself that l'm embarrassed by and not proud of."
The couple—who share four kids under 4—got into a heated argument during a cast trip to San Diego, with costar Lala Kent calling Danny out for his disrespectful tone. Looking back, the actor wishes he would have laid off the alcohol during the vacation.
"A short fuse, stress, alcohol and lack of sleep are never a good combination," the 42-year-old admitted in his statement, adding, "but that’s not an excuse. I should never have taken any of it out on you."
And while some fans condemned Danny's behavior as inappropriate, he acknowledged he was just as surprised watching the footage play back.
"Balancing parenthood and life can stretch you in ways you don't fully realize until you see yourself through a different lens," he wrote. "I love, honor, and respect you deeply, and I did not show that in some of these moments."
"Nia, I love you so much," Danny concluded. "I’m grateful for you, our family, and this beautiful, chaotic life we’ve built together. I thank God for you every day."

During the episode, Lala admitted to feeling "triggered" by Danny's treatment of Nia, causing him to become even more enraged.
Although he apologized for his reaction on the show the following morning, he pulled out of a May 20 Watch What Happens Live appearance amid the backlash. (Host Andy Cohen noted a scheduling conflict.)
Danny's apology tour continued during an interview for The Valley after-show where he shed insight into his mindset leading up to the tense exchange.
"I was trying to get ready for this drag queen pageant, and I felt Nia had just thrown some things in a bag and was also dealing with the judges," he said. "The combination of all that kind of got me in a little bit of a mood."

"I was in the wrong for this and should have never spoken to her in that tone, whether it was joking, whether it was a combination of multiple things," the Pretty Little Liars alum continued. "I always want to love, honor, and respect my wife, and I wasn't doing that in that moment."
As for Nia's take on the drama?
"One thing with me and Daniel, in our relationship in general, yes, we have tense moments; yes, we can be short with each other," the former Miss USA said in a confessional during the episode, "Sometimes we're in this beautiful season where, like, everything is really good, and sometimes it's not. And what people will see through this, like, window of time is, like, there were so many tense moments, and we were short with each other and had short fuses a lot."
