How Sailor Brinkley Cook Helps Mom Christie Brinkley Navigate Social Media

“She's out there and she's doing things—all the cool things,” Christie told E!. “And she knows what's happening right now.”

And though she’s happy to give her youngest guidance about her career, she does draw the line with Sailor poking into her closet. But that hasn’t stopped her daughter.

“She doesn't let me take anything,” Sailor confessed. “I take things no matter what.”

Christie added with a laugh, “I’m always looking on her Instagram and going, ‘That's where those pants went. Oh, that's where that jacket is.’”

But Sailor was undeterred, joking, “Girl's got to do what a girl's got to do.”

Social media isn’t the only place Sailor has stepped in to help her mom: She even set up a dating profile for Christie, which led to some shocking results.

“She put—for like an hour or something—she put me up there,” Christie shared on the Are You A Charlotte? podcast in August. “And she said, ‘Mom, you're right not to go on it, because the same guys that said yes to me are saying yes to you.'”
