Kylie Jenner Sued by Former Housekeeper for Alleged Discrimination

Kylie Jenner is facing more legal troubles.

Two months after two former housekeepers sued the Kardashians star for alleged discrimination, her former chef filed a complaint alleging a hostile work environment, according to documents obtained by The Los Angeles Times, Entertainment Weekly and USA Today.

E! News has reached out to a rep for Jenner, who has yet to publicly address the lawsuit, and has not yet heard back.

In the June 22 Los Angeles Superior Court filing, the former employee accused Jenner of more than 20 claims, including pregnancy discrimination and harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination.

The chef—who remained anonymous in the filing—worked for the beauty mogul from November 2024 until March 2025, according to the docs, per the LA Times. She alleged that she alerted her supervisors, also named co-defendants, of her pregnancy in December and "required reasonable accommodations to protect her health and pregnancy."

However, she alleged that instead, the defendants had "continued assigning [her] excessive hours, physically demanding tasks and high-pressure events."

The former employee said that she had dealt with "passive-aggressive remarks and condescending treatment" during her pregnancy.

In a December 2024 instance, she alleged that she was told to "lift and transport heavy food items across the street and uphill without assistance," which she said led to a medical emergency. She said she became "dizzy, began choking and gasping for air," before receiving assistance from security personnel.

The chef said she hit her breaking point in February 2025, then five months pregnant, while working a birthday party for one of Jenner's kids—both of whom were born that month—without "adequate support."

"Due to exhaustion and overwhelming physical strain, [she] broke down emotionally in the bathroom during the event," the filing viewed by The LA Times read. "That evening, [she] experienced extreme physical exhaustion and heaviness throughout her body as a result of the prolonged and intense workload."

The former employee alleged that she woke up hemorrhaging the next day after experiencing extreme fatigue as "a result of the prolonged and intense workload." When she went to the emergency room, according to the court documents, she was told "that there was no detectable heartbeat and that she had lost her unborn child."

The suit claimed that the chef alerted her supervisors of the miscarriage and in the following days, was "falsely accused of leaving the kitchen and refrigerator in disarray" after the birthday party.

According to the docs, the former employee accused her supervisor of reprimanding her for suffering severe depression and emotional distress following the miscarriage. She alleged her superior said, "Stop it, just stop it. You are upsetting Kylie. You are making her depressed."

She accused Jenner, 28, of being aware that she was pregnant, had suffered a miscarriage, required medical leave and intended to return to work after.

"Despite such knowledge," the filing read, "Defendants failed to provide' the former employee 'adequate support, accommodation, protection from harassment, or meaningful assistance" following her "pregnancy complications, miscarriage, and return from leave."

The former employee is requesting an unspecified amount of damages, back pay, lost wages, lost earnings, lost employment benefits, attorneys' costs and fees, as well as a jury trial.

The employee's attorney Della Shaker addressed the lawsuit in a statement to USA Today, writing, "For our client, this case is about finding justice after one of the most painful chapters of her life. She looks forward to having the truth come to light through the judicial process."
