Love Island USA Season 8 Premiere Date Revealed
Turns out Jalen Brown's love was back on the mainland.
The Love Island USA alum—who was coupled up with Olandria Carthen following a public vote during his debut as a bombshell on season seven of the dating show—married lifestyle influencer Joiya Lanae on May 15, one year after being dumped from the competition.
And the 29-year-old couldn't be more excited about finally finding the one.
"Married to my favorite person, in elite shape, GTA 6 finally drops in November," Jalen described of his cloud-nine mindset alongside a dancing video from his wedding day shared on Instagram, elaborating that his "life actually feels aligned."
In fact, the truck driver emphasized his excitement over tying the knot by captioning the video, "Living the life I once prayed for."
After being welcomed to the Villa by host Ariana Madix on day nine, along with fellow bombshells Pepe Garcia and Iris Kendall, Jalen secured America's vote as the perfect match for Olandria amid her hot and cold relationship with Taylor Williams.
While the love connection didn't last long—Olandria recoupled with Taylor five days after Jalen's arrival, leaving the Georgia native single—Jalen would soon find forever after meeting Joiya Lanae on a Royal Caribbean summer cruise in 2025.
As the influencer revealed to her fans on TikTok, Joiya, 25, fell in love with Jalen following an "unforgettable" meet-cute.
They were connected by a mutual friend on the boat who thought they might be a good fit, with Joiya explaining, "Then we decided that we were going to get together and actually sit and talk face to face," which turned into a "long, long, long conversation" that could've easily gone on "until the same came up."

Now one year later, the social media star—who is known online for her Daily Joi videos—wore a white halter dress on the big day that she married her partner, with whom she feels of "one accord."

Chrishell Stause & G Flip
After Chrishell Stause's split from actor husband Justin Hartley and then Jason Oppenheim, the Selling Sunset star announced on the season five reunion that she was dating someone new.
"Their name is G Flip," Chrishell said on the May 2022 episode. "They're nonbinary, so they go by they/them, and they are an extremely talented musician. And it started because I was just going to be in their video.”
