Five years after the Food Network alum confirmed she and the Hawaii Five-O alum were dating—and shortly after engaged that same year—her rep Jen Abel confirmed to TMZ April 22 that they had called off their nuptials.
The couple’s break up confirmation comes a week after Sandra was out and about in New York without her engagement ring. However, at time the Semi-Homemade Cooking star shook off speculation, telling TMZ her outfit simply “didn’t call for jewelry.”
Although Sandra’s relationship with Ben, 47, took off at whirlwind speed in 2021, two years after her breakup with Andrew Cuomo, the duo operated under the radar since. They were especially private in their final years together, having last stepped out together publicly in 2024 for Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Oscars viewing party.
At the time, the couple appeared to be having a blast together. In one photo captured from the soiree, Sandra playfully sipped her champagne as Ben—who was all smiles—snapped his own picture of the moment on his cell phone.
Meanwhile, their love life also retreated online. Sandra, 59, last shared a post featuring Ben back in 2025, in honor of Valentine’s Day, in which she included a video compilation of sweet selfies of the former couple.
“To my Special Valentines, Ben, thank you for nearly 4 years of love,” Sandra wrote, replacing the final word with a heart emoji, in an Instagram post. “We have had so much fun, so much romance, so many special moments.”

Prior to her romance with Ben, Sandra dated the former New York governor for 15 years. During the lengthy romance, Sandra was playfully referred to by the public as the “semi” First Lady of New York. (Andrew resigned from his position in 2021 following sexual harassment allegations.)
Indeed, though the chef and politician never took the next step in their romance, Sandra maintained that she was as devoted to her then-boyfriend’s mission as he was.
As she told Vogue in the months after Andrew was elected in 2011, “In 2010 I made a very conscious effort to get ahead of my work; I cleared the decks and reorganized the company so that I would have more time to devote to Andrew.”

In the filing, David is listed as the plaintiff, filing for a summons and complaint, or instigation of a lawsuit. Sai—mom to London and Rio with David—is listed as the defendant and has yet to address the filing publicly.
Sai joined RHONY in its 2023 recast season and addressed rumors that she “stole” her husband from his previous wife while on the reality show.
“I met David six years after he got a divorce,” Sai said during the ninth episode of season 15. “I have his divorce paperwork.”

That same day, Jaime revealed that she was "blindsided" by the investor's decision to abruptly end their marriage.
“I was completely blindsided by the divorce filing, which came out of nowhere,” the actress told Page Six in a statement published Jan. 22. “I was with Austin the night before it became public, and while like many marriages we had normal challenges, I genuinely believed we were working on our relationship.”
