Are Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse Married? Why His Comments Are Raising Eyebrows
The dawn is breaking on a new decade for Robert Pattinson.
The Twilight alum turned 40 May 13. While fans will have to wait and see what this milestone year will bring, you better hold on tight, spider monkey. Because if his 40s are anything like his 30s, Pattinson will be sinking his teeth into a ton of new roles.
Over the past few years, the actor has starred in several films, including The Drama, Die My Love, Mickey 17 and The Batman. And while he already has some projects on the horizon—with The Odyssey and Dune: Part Three both set to hit theaters this year—he’ll always be grateful for how the Twilight movies launched his career.
"That first movie was great," Pattinson recalled to E! back in 2018. "It was really, really fun. It was a massive turning point in my life. I had an entirely different life afterwards. I still wasn't entirely sure I was going to be an actor until after that movie, so I'll always appreciate it."
But the role that's changed his life the most is the one he took on in 2024, he and longtime love Suki Waterhouse welcoming their now 2-year-old daughter.
"Ever since she was born, it’s reinvigorated the way I approach work," the Water for Elephants star said at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival in a video shared by the Associated Press. "You’re a completely different person the next day."

The little one arrived months after fans learned of Pattinson and Waterhouse's engagement (while there’s been speculation the couple has since tied the knot, they’ve yet to confirm their status).
"We really planned it," the Daisy Jones & The Six actress told British Vogue in 2024 about becoming parents. "One day we looked at each other and said, 'Well, this is as ready as we’re going to be.'"
As she put it, "I was like, 'What can make more chaos?'"
And clearly nothing can eclipse Pattinson's love for his family.
"[He is] the dad I could have hoped for," Waterhouse added. "I mean a dad and his daughter? It’s an actual love story."
