Lance Bass and Joey Fatone to Host New E! Reality Competition Series 'Cocktail Wars'
Raise a glass to E!'s newest reality competition series.
'N Sync band members Lance Bass and Joey Fatone are reuniting to host E!'s Cocktail Wars, a weekly mixology contest featuring battles between America's buzziest booze industry stars.
In each of the 10 episodes, Joey and Lance will be joined by celebrity guests and expert judges as they preside over a showdown of skill and flair between two fiery mixologists. The contestant who serves up the most delicious drink or breathtakingly crafted beverage will take home the $10,000 prize, while the losing bar expert says "Bye Bye Bye" to the competition.
"From playful flavor combinations to eye-catching technique, the focus is on having a good time, taking risks and serving up drinks with personality," reads the series' description. "Each shake, stir and splash could be the winning touch or the one that sends them home. It’s a cocktail competition where the vibes are high, the drinks are strong, and the bragging rights are everything."
And Lance and Joey are already saying "cheers" in celebration of the new series.
"We’re excited to be part of Cocktail Wars and team up again for something this fun," the pop stars said in a joint statement May 7. "With this much talent, a little competition, a lot of cocktails and just enough chaos to keep things interesting—that’s usually where we thrive."
Cocktail Wars will premiere this summer, only on E!.
While fans will surely be excited by the news that the former boy-banders are teaming up for the new project, they shouldn't exactly hold their breath for an 'N Sync reunion with Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick in the near future.

"Of course, the big question is, 'Is 'N Sync ever getting back together?'" Joey told People in May 2025. "The answer is, we haven't had that conversation yet."
"The five of us need to get together, and that day has not happened yet," he continued. "Everybody's everywhere in the world, and I think it's more important to get everybody in-person as opposed to just getting on a chat or on a phone call."
Plus, the 49-year-old noted, "Everybody has families. Most people have kids, so then you have to take that into consideration."
