Inside Rihanna and A$AP Rocky's Son RZA's 4th Birthday Party
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky had slime on the brain for their son RZA's birthday.
Indeed, the couple celebrated the 4-year-old's special day at the Sloomoo Institute, a slime museum, in New York City May 13, alongside family and friends.
Rihanna and A$AP—who are also parents to son Riot, 2, and daughter Rocki, 8 months—went all out for their eldest kid's birthday, renting out the entire venue for the celebration, per People.
For the "immersive" soirée, party guests enjoyed sensory play activities, interactive installations and custom slime creations while being surrounded by "over-the-top balloon decor," according to a rep from the establishment. But that wasn't all. Indeed, party guests got to experience the museum's signature "Sloomoo Falls," in which attendees get doused in slime.
And, Rihanna, 38, of course joined in on the fun. After all, the "Love on the Brain" singer participated in the venue's iconic experience and was drenched in gallons of goo as she stood under the slime waterfall, according to the Sloomoo Institute rep.
And as seen in fan footage circulating online, Riri sure could've used an umbrella as she wore a clear plastic poncho that covered her from head to toe.
But, of course, the guest of honor was celebrated all evening. In a separate clip, A$AP held RZA and son Riot in his arms, while Rihanna held Rocki as guests sang "Happy Birthday" to the birthday boy. At the end of the video, the couple helped their firstborn blow out the candles on his slime-decorated cake.

Since welcoming RZA in 2022, Rihanna and A$AP's family has grown by two, with the pair welcoming son Riot and daughter Riot into their brood in 2023 and 2025, respectively.
And while the "Umbrella" singer and "Praise the Lord" rapper's longtime friendship didn't turn romantic until the pandemic, Rihanna already knew their relationship was something special.
"I let God lead and just let go," Rihanna told Interview Magazine in 2024. "Because in previous relationships, I tried and tried and tried my best, and you still feel like it’s not enough. So, when someone sees you completely, and believes in you, and thinks you’re worthy of being the mother of their kids, it’s a great feeling.”
She added, “I felt the same about him. I knew he would be a great dad.”

And as for how many kids she might like to welcome with A$AP? Rihanna shared, "As many as God wants me to have."

After announcing they were expecting their first baby, Rihanna recalled keeping her pregnancy a secret from her friends. "It was harder for me to keep it from my posse, because they're around me, they know my habits," she told E!'s Justin Sylvester. "They're like, 'You don't want something to drink? You're not smoking?' And I'm eating all the things I'm not used to eating. They know I hate sweets and I'm all of a sudden asking for cookies and donuts. But finally, I just had to let it all out, and they were all shocked, of course, as the world was shocked as well."

While fans wondered if A$AP Rocky had proposed to Rihanna after seeing them sport the words "Marry me?" and "I do" across their teeth in his "D.M.B." video, sources close to the couple told TMZ in May 2022 the two aren't engaged.
