Tristan Thompson Shares When He’ll Tell His, Khloe Kardashian’s Kids About His Infidelity

It was then that an off-camera producer asked whether, if Tristan—who was 25 at the time he met Khloe, then 31—had crossed paths with the Good American co-founder later in life, if it would have worked out.

“Yeah,” he immediately responded, causing Khloe to go, “Oh!”

But the basketball player—who welcomed son Theo, 4, with Maralee Nichols following a paternity scandal documented on The Kardashians—was confident.

“I always tell people,” Tristan, also dad to Prince with ex Jordan Craig, continued, “I think it's the right person, wrong time. And I mean, like maybe it's a cliche to thing, but I think it's true.”

The now-35-year-old added, “We've had that conversation, but if I was the age I am now, or even a couple years before, would our world look different? Probably so.”

And though he affirmed his belief that everything happens for a reason, Tristan also noted you “never know” how life may turn out—leaving the door open with a cheeky smile to Khloe.

To which she responded, “No, I think we know. I think we know.”

As for how Tristan, who confirmed on the podcast that he got a vasectomy, will feel when Khloe starts dating again in the future, he hopes to travel past the news.

“Ignorance is bliss,” he said. “That’s my best explanation.”

Though Khloe took slight issue with his response.

“I just don’t get it,” she said. “Guys, like, want to have such a problem with people moving on and dating, but like you guys cause all this.”

Tristan’s response? A simple, “Yeah.”
