NFL Star Will Levis’ Mom Says He Paid "Exorbitant" Amount of Money to Investigate Sex Tape Leak

“We did find out that actually this content was stolen from his private—either laptop or digital platform, phone, whatever was actually breached and invaded a year or two earlier when he was in college,” Beth noted. “And we come to find out this was an Europe Eastern European hacking group that is notorious for trying to target what they think might be an attractive couple that they can then expose.”

E! News has reached out to Will’s manager for comment but has not yet heard back.

The incident, Beth said, took an emotional toll on Will. 

“My husband and myself and my parents and his parents and generations, we’ve worked so hard to instill into our kids a foundation of morals and ethics preaching integrity and how important it is to represent yourself with your last name,” Beth said. “Not as just yourself, but all of those relatives and your family members.”

“So," she added, “It really hurt Will, ‘cause he knew that this was going to be something that probably a lot of people would see that, you know, it's not meant for anybody else's eyes.”

The incident also led to online harassment of Will’s younger sister, then age 15, at her high school. 

Both events encouraged Beth to reframe her lifestyle brand Chill Life into a mental health-based mission that encourages individuals to take breaks from their phones and being online.

Ross, for his part, congratulated Beth on turning the family’s pain into good. 

“I’m truly sorry you and your family had to go through both of those experiences to get to this point,” the NFL alum said. “But what I will say is you are doing what you set out to do.”
