Neil Patrick Harris Calls Out Abby Lee Miller For Seemingly Editing His Face on Social Media

Neil Patrick Harris and his whole family suited up for a special occasion.

Indeed, the How I Met Your Mother alum and his husband David Burtka stepped out with their 15-year-old twins, son Gideon and daughter Harper, for a rare family public night out to attend Family Equality's Night at the Pier Gala on May 11 in New York City.

Neil, 52, and his family were all smiles while posing for pictures together on the red carpet at the event. The Series of Unfortunate Events actor and Gideon twinned in matching black suits as David, 50, donned a dark blue ensemble. Harper, meanwhile, dazzled in a gold embellished, floral-printed strapless gown.

And it was truly a moment worth celebrating. After all, Neil and David were honored with the Luminary Award for what Family Equality referred to as their "visibility, advocacy and enduring commitment to LGBTQ+ families."

In fact, the Doogie Howser M.D. star and David were presented the award by fellow LGBTQ+ activists and longtime couple Elton John and David Furnish, who are also parents to teenagers. And as Neil and his husband of 11 years took the stage, they were accompanied by their twins, who stood by their side.

Although Neil and David have kept their children's lives rather private, the couple—who welcomed their twins in 2010—never hesitate to publicly gush over Harper and Gideon.

"I have never been more proud of anything in my entire life, and I suspect I never will. My husband David and I marvel at their maturity, are wowed by their warmth, chuffed by their charm," Neil wrote in a birthday tribute to the twins on Instagram in October 2024. "We love them both unconditionally, and their hugs fill us with life."
