Amy Schumer Shares "Thirsty" Swimsuit Selfie After Chris Fischer Breakup
Amy Schumer is giving an inside look into her parenthood journey.
The 44-year-old threw a birthday party for her son Gene, 7, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Fisher.
Donning floral facepaint, she shared in a May 3 Instagram Story, “This [woman] just threw her first bday party as a single mom.”
The Trainwreck star shared photos of herself mingling at the busy party, as well as eating cake with her kiddo. The birthday cake was adorned with ninja stars, a sword, a ninja topper, and a banner that said, “Happy 7th Birthday Gene!”
Besides having a party, Amy also brought her son to the zoo, giving a glimpse at the animals her family saw including a hedgehog, bears, a leopard, and a red panda. Covering his face with a sticker, she beamed alongside Gene, who wore a funny shirt saying “I was 6, now I’m 7.”
The Inside Amy Schumer alum went all out for Gene’s birthday party, his first milestone following Amy’s split from Chris. The two called it quits after seven years of marriage in December 2025.
"Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage," Amy shared in an Instagram statement at the time. "We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son."
Regarding the nature of the divorce, she shut down speculation that the cause was her weight loss or his ability to “pull some hot tail.” Instead, she said of the breakup, "Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever."

Since then, the Snatched actress has been enjoying the single life, even posting cheeky thirst traps to her Instagram Stories every now and then.
In one such post, she uploaded a photo of herself wearing a burgundy one-piece swimsuit with big sunglasses, writing on March 31, “Thirsty enough for ya?”

"Ok here's my post baby annoying post and my takeaway from pregnancy," Amy wrote on Instagram in 2019 shortly after her son's birth. "Women are the s--t. Men are cool and whatever but women are f--king warriors and capable of anything. I was lucky enough to get to have a doula."
"I did Pilates with strong women and went for walks," she continued. "I threw up violently and felt sick mostly every day of my pregnancy. Hyperemesis is real and it's awful. But f--k, what they say is true. The second you give birth it's gone...All my friends. Friends I've had for 30 years or people who encouraged me to 'keep going' or telling me 'it will be worth it.' Thank you. Every woman I encountered is so willing to help and advise you and I felt all their strength. And you were right. Thank you ladies from my family."
