Adam Driver had a swift reaction after Lena Dunham alleged in her memoir Famesick that he acted “half-man, half-beast” while filming Girls.

Adam Driver is addressing Lena Dunham’s bombshell claims about him—kind of.
After the Girls creator and actress alleged in her memoir Famesick that Adam had “sometimes feral” outbursts during their time filming the show, he shared his cheeky reaction.
“I have no comment on any of that,” Adam said during the Cannes press conference for his film Paper Tiger, per Variety. “I’m saving it all for my book.”
Though his comments sparked laughter in the room, per the outlet, Lena described Adam’s alleged “half-man, half-beast” behavior as no laughing matter, detailing one specific instance when they were practicing lines.
“Adam screamed, ‘F--KING SAY SOMETHING’ and hurled a chair at the wall next to me,’” Lena, who at the time was dealing with dissociation as part of her undiagnosed endometriosis, wrote in Famesick. “‘WAKE THE F--K UP,’ he told me. ‘I’M SICK OF WATCHING YOU JUST STARE.’”
The pair’s intimate scenes also stick out in her mind as they portrayed leads and love interests Hannah Horvath and Adam Sackler.
After all, Lena alleged that the “careful blocking” laid out for their sex scenes “went out the window” when cameras began to roll. She alleged that Adam, in character, would “hurl me this way and that” during intimate scenes.
“Part of me was afraid that when I turned around, I would find I was suddenly in a full-penetration 1970s porno,” Lena admitted. “But after a few mimed thrusts, I called cut.”

And while Lena noted the Marriage Story star told her he’d “always love" her when the series wrapped in 2017, she wrote that she “never heard from him again.”
E! News previously reached out to Adam’s rep regarding Lena’s comments but did not hear back.
But despite the allegations made in Lena’s book, Adam previously shared how much he loved working with the This is 40 actress.
"I love it," he told Larry King in a 2017 interview . "She's very specific in her writing and she's very open with creating a space for everyone to try anything they want to."
As he put it, "It really is the best kind of, great, working environment."
