Pete Davidson's Girlfriend Elsie Hewitt Shares How She "Cracked the Code" to Motherhood
Pete Davidson will always care for his and Elsie Hewitt's daughter Scottie.
That's why amid the Saturday Night Live alum and the model's apparent breakup, a source told E! News Pete "is fully financially supporting the child and Elsie."
In addition to "covering all Scottie's cost," the insider said Pete, 32, also "shoulders all of the financial costs" for Elsie's well-being, including her rent and health insurance.
"He wants nothing but the best for Elsie," the insider continued. "He is hoping Elsie has good health and success for the sake of their daughter."
And while Elsie said in a recent TikTok video that she has been raising their daughter “on my own,” E! News has learned the comedian is also playing a hands-on role in parenting Scottie. As the source put it, "Pete has been 100 percent present in Scottie’s life.”
E! News has reached out to Pete and Elsie’s reps but hasn’t received a comment.
Pete and Elsie, 30, welcomed Scottie on Dec. 12, 2025. The pair named their baby girl after Pete's late dad Scott Davidson—a New York City firefighter who died during the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks—as well as a special place that's close to their hearts.
"She was conceived in Scotland," Pete told Elite Daily in January, with Elsie calling Scottie's moniker “an early favorite."
"We always knew that was the one we were going to come back to, because it was the most meaningful," she continued. “It's also so cute."
But during her early days of postpartum, Elsie faced several medical setbacks. She had her wisdom tooth removed just one day after giving birth, before contracting food poisoning two months later.

"I am extremely nauseous / was throwing up last night,” Elsie wrote on Instagram Stories in February after rushing to the emergency room. “Haven't slept / have chills everywhere and EVERYTHING HURTS.”
"My legs are like spasming?” she continued at the time, “I feel like they're gonna fly off my body they're so restless all below the waist.”
Still, Elsie—who also experienced painful complications during her pregnancy due to endometriosis—has been relishing every moment of motherhood. In fact, she recently quipped that she "cracked the code" after mastering a bottle-feeding technique with Scottie.
"I exhaled. I embraced the quiet," she wrote in the forward of Tommee Tippee's Feeding Made Simple Guide, released earlier in May. "I smelled her head. I wept."
