Gisele Bündchen Makes Rare Comment About "Quieter Life" in Boston During Tom Brady Marriage
Gisele Bündchen is looking back at her life in New England.
Six years after the supermodel officially moved out of Boston following her then-husband Tom Brady's relocation to Florida for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, she reflected on her time in Massachusetts' capital.
"I had moved to Boston and was living a much quieter life," Bündchen, who moved to New England in 2007, recalled during an interview with W Magazine published June 10. "Earlier in my career, everything was about achievement and saying yes to every opportunity."
"Over time, I began to understand the importance of finding balance," she continued. "My spiritual practice helped me become more present and more connected to myself. Instead of focusing on external expectations, I started paying attention to how I felt internally."
The 45-year-old—who shares kids Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, and stepson Jack, 18, with Brady, as well as a 16-month-old son with husband Joaquim Valente—emphasized that shifting her perspective was essential for personal growth.
As she put it, "That changed everything—not only my work, but also the way I experienced life."
When Bündchen—who divorced Brady in 2022 after 13 years of marriage—moved out of Boston in 2020 after the former New England Patriots quarterback left to play in Tampa, she shared a love letter to the Northeastern city.
"What a ride the last decade has been. Boston has been so good to us and will always be in our hearts. We will forever have wonderful memories," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "Our kids were born and raised there and we have made special friendships to last a lifetime."

"I'll miss our friends, the beautiful change of seasons and the rides to the stadium to go cheer for Tom and the Pats," she concluded. "Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive of my husband and our family throughout all these years. We will miss you."
Bündchen—who now lives in Miami—has a deep love for Boston, but as a Brazilian native, she never quite embraced the New England weather.
"Why do I live here? It's called love," she teased to Vogue in June 2018. "I love my husband. My kids were born here in our old apartment on Beacon Street. They're little Bostonians, and they love the weather. But I'm not going to lie. Cold is not my flavor. I'm Brazilian. I'd rather live barefoot in a hut in the middle of the forest somewhere."

The 40-year-old posted a fab photo of the couple in June gushing, "Yes I do! Feliz dia dos namorados! Te amo muito!"
"Happy Birthday! What a great year it has been! We love you so much! Let me count the ways...." wrote the football legend in a hot post for his wife's 38th birthday.

Keeping with the "Heavenly Bodies" theme of the 2018 Met Gala, the awe-inspiring pair looked absolutely angelic in each other's arms.
After the Patriots' stunning loss to the Eagles in the 2018 Super Bowl, the football stud's wife posted a heartfelt message to Instagram. "Congratulations Eagles for winning the Super bowl, what a game that was! Congratulations Patriots for giving your best and to my love, we are incredibly proud of you because we are able to see every day all the commitment, sacrifice and hard work that you have devoted to become the best in what you do. We love you!"

The Brazilian model showed her support for her football star before the big 2018 Super Bowl LII game in Minnesota.
In celebration of her hubby's big win at the AFC Championship game, the actress planted a kiss on his cheek and gushed on Insta, "What a game!!! Congratulations my love! So happy for you and your teammates! #gopats."
"Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from our family to yours! A morning snowstorm and Santa's visit make for an extra special day! Love, Peace, Joy, and Happiness to you all!" greeted the star athlete in a sweet Christmas post.
On Halloween, the lovebirds looked like the perfect pair in their toast and avocado costumes.
"There is nothing better than being with you," Gisele writes in honor of Father's Day 2017. Tom gets caught in a pile up with his three children Vivian, Benjamin and John.
