Years later, she called the decision to cancel the series—which also starred Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Jake Lacy—a “big mistake.”

“They didn’t realize what that show was and what it could do,” the Big Little Lies actress explained to Elle in 2022. “The amount of letters, DMs, people on the street, and women that look like us—like, that love for the show, it meant something to people.”

As for her relationship with Styles, the Blink Twice director—who was previously married to Karl Glusman and engaged to Channing Tatum—has also walked a fine line when it comes to what she’s willing to share. Despite debuting what appeared to be a ring on that finger last month, Kravitz, nor Styles have officially confirmed their engagement. 

Meanwhile, their inner circle has hinted at wedding bells in the future. Earlier this month, the Caught Stealing actress’ stylist Jessica McMormack told Vogue she added “Cry Baby” jewelry pieces to Kravitz’s Met Gala look to ensure her engagement ring remained inconspicuous. 

For Styles’ part, he’s never been one to put his romances out there in the daylight, but he did recently tease that he was ready to settle down. 

“I had a real honest conversation with myself about, ‘Okay, in five years, what do I want my life to look like? And then how do I make changes to aim at that?’” Styles explained during an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in March. “I want to be fulfilled and I want to be in great relationships with people.”

As he put it, “I want a family.”
