Celebrity Style

Tonight, Gucci designer Demna brought his resort 2027 presentation to New York City—and what’s more New York than Times Square? Sure, the midtown tourist attraction—replete with those big, blinding, flashing billboards—is often avoided at all costs by local New Yorkers, but it also served as the perfect flashy backdrop for Demna’s new co-ed collection, which offered runway cameos from celebrities like Paris Hilton, Tom Brady, and even supermodel Cindy Crawford (who closed the show with a bang, no less).
Gucci is not the only big fashion house hosting a cruise show in the Big Apple this month: Louis Vuitton is also set to showcase at the Frick on May 20th. But some of the stars who landed in Times Square for the Gucci-fied evening? They included buzzy rappers and singers such as Esdeekid, Mariah Carey, Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, and Shawn Mendes; Actors such as Lindsay Lohan; Pro F1 drivers like Lewis Hamilton; Fellow designers such as Marc Jacobs; And enduring front row fixtures like Kim Kardashian, among many others.
Even better than all of these star sightings, of course, was seeing which Gucci looks they slipped into for the Times Square spectacle. Stars like Lohan wore sleek all-black leather, while Mendes donned classic gray tailoring. One could say the front row spectating was just as much fun—and just as chic!—as the catwalk itself.
