Met Gala

Photographed by Phil Oh
It’s all about the big entrance at the 2026 Met Gala, where stars show up decked out in their finest red carpet looks. And the first person to capture all that glorious fashion? Our photographer Phil Oh, of course, who is on standby at the foot of the steps as the Sprinter vans roll through.
After arrivals start at 4:30 p.m., there’s no telling who Oh might spot—whether it’s Maya Hawke awaiting her turn on the carpet or Jennie and Lorde making a quick exit hours later. Maybe we’ll even sneak a glimpse of some of our favorite celebrity children, like North West, who helped to drop her mom off at the Met two years ago.
Scroll on for the best arrival moments at the 2026 Met Gala and be sure to check back in tomorrow morning for all the best exits.
