The claaaaw—sorry, the baaaangs! Greta Lee is officially back on team bangs, debuting a blunt new fringe on Thursday at the UK premiere of Toy Story 5 in London.
Hairstylist and longtime collaborator Jenny Cho was responsible for the new do, while makeup artist Nina Park kept the glam soft, with a glowy base and pop of red on the lips. The ripe tomato shade perfectly matched her playful red halter-neck dress with white stars and (matching!) fringe detailing by High Sport. (Styled, as always, by Danielle Goldberg.) Just like her sartorial choices, her above-the-brow bangs provide a bit of elevated edge.

This new haircut keeps the main length while cutting in thick bangs that hit equidistance from her brows and hairline, feathered lightly to take away any density or heaviness. What’s left feels bright and fresh, a summer-appropriate set of bangs.

Bangs gone by: Lee in the New Girl era
Photo: Getty ImagesThis is far from the first time Greta Lee has ventured into bang territory. At the 2024 Met Gala, she opted for a raven-dark, choppy bob with razored micro bangs, contrasting against her delicate, diaphanous Loewe gown. New Girl fans may also remember Lee as Kai, with her thick, side-sweeping fringe—all good things come back around, as they say.
That goes for movie franchises too: Lee joins the beloved Toy Story for its fifth edition. Out in theaters on June 19, the movie casts Lee as the voice of Lilypad, a tablet that the other toys must grapple with. Expect the glam to match the fun and free-spirited press tour wardrobe.
