Bella Hadid may count custom Prada and Haider Ackermann’s Tom Ford amongst her high-octane Cannes wardrobe, but the model’s trip to the French Riviera has largely been a series of vintage flexes.

Today, the model left the Hôtel Martinez in a pale aqua duchesse satin zip-up dress—replete with a Peter Pan collar, tie belt, and body-contouring seams—from Marc Jacobs’s spring 2003 collection for Louis Vuitton—a collection shown when she was just shy of 6 years old. The dress was just as much of a knockout when it hit the runway in October 2002 as it is now. “Girl nation was thrown for a loop,” Sarah Mower wrote of the dresses (which Jacobs produced in all colors of the rainbow) at the time.

Hadid upped the ante with her styling, adding a pair of pointy-toe heels from Louis Vuitton’s collaboration with Takashi Murakami, embellished with a sweet flower appliqué.

While this was a particularly enviable pull, the model’s trip to Cannes has featured many an archive piece—beginning with the futuristic 1999 Prada Sport capri set she wore for her arrival.

The looks have spanned casual to red carpet: Yesterday, Hadid joined her mother, Yolanda, for a beachside lunch, where she wore a body-conscious Jean Paul Gaultier halter dress with a belt slung across her hips. She’s also been on quite the Elie Saab kick, wearing a lace-trimmed floral top for a day out and a sequined gold gown from the 2004 couture collection to the Chopard Miracle Gala.

Whether she’s strolling about town in Marc Jacobs’s Louis Vuitton or hitting the red carpet in Elie Saab couture, Bella Hadid’s thoughtful vintage looks are all the more reason to hand her the Queen of Cannes title…again.
