Perhaps you’ve heard that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are getting married?
If the rumors are to be believed, the pair is reportedly tying the knot at Madison Square Garden on July 3. But that still begs the (arguably most important) question: Who will be the lucky designer to make Taylor Swift’s wedding dress?
Naturally, we have some guesses. There’s always a chance that Swift will fall back on one of her favorite brands for her big moment—after all, comfort is the key to a flawless day. But, as fans know well, Swift has a fondness for under-the-radar artists. Just take Kindred Lubeck, the then-unknown jeweler behind her embellished, brilliant-cut old mine diamond ring. Who’s to say that won’t extend to her wedding-day fashion as well?
Here, we break down five contenders for Swift’s wedding dress designer, from her tried-and-trues to the dark horse picks. But, knowing the singer, she could very well have something else up her sleeve…
In New York, 2023.
GothamThe history: Swift has long worn Ralph Lauren in her personal life, from the sweet white eyelet skirt set (very bridal!) to the classic logo baseball cap. But the biggest indicator of all? Swift wore the brand’s black-and-white striped halter dress in her engagement photos. It flew off the shelves.
Why we think she’d choose them: Swift is an eternal fan of Easter eggs, so you can’t blame us for wondering if her engagement dress was a wink at what’s to come. Plus, Miss Americana might want to choose the quintessential American designer for her big day.

Frazer Harrison/Getty ImagesThe history: Of all the brands on this list, Swift has worn Westwood the most—especially in recent years. Swift seems just as fond of Westwood in her personal life (see the draped plaid corset and matching skirt at a Kansas City Chiefs game) as she is in her professional appearances (the red sparkly mini with a draped miniskirt and one-shouldered corset she wore to the 2025 Grammys).
Why we think she’d choose them: Westwood is a popular choice among brides. While Swift might not want to follow the pack, you can’t deny: she loves a corset. And who does it better than Westwood?
At the 2024 Grammys.
Axelle/Bauer-GriffinThe history: Surprisingly, Swift has only worn Schiaparelli once—a white draped gown replete with a strapless bustier, dramatic thigh-high slit, and black opera gloves—at the 2024 Grammys.
Why we think she’d choose them: If anyone can be trusted to bring the wedding day drama, it’s Schiaparelli’s creative director, Daniel Roseberry. And given that Swift hasn’t worn much Schiaparelli, perhaps she’s saving it for a special occasion.

NBC/Getty ImagesThe history: Swift has already given designer Jackson Wiederhoeft her stamp of approval—twice. While the young designer has made a name for himself in the bridal space, she’s instead opted for his more colorful styles. For a 2025 appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Swift opted for a floral brocade corset and matching miniskirt. She turned to the designer again for the 2026 iHeart Radio Music Awards, hitting the carpet in a corseted seafoam green number.
Why we think she’d choose them: Swift is not afraid to champion smaller brands. And while Wiederhoeft is newer on the scene, it’s already becoming a major player in the bridal space. If Swift wants something decidedly bridal, but still unexpected, Wiederhoeft would be a great pick. Plus, they make a killer corset.

Mike Coppola/Getty ImagesThe history: Swift was a dedicated fan of Kim and Garcia’s Oscar de la Renta, be it the sky blue floral cutout gown she wore to the premiere of The Eras Tour concert film, the dripping jeweled minidress at the 2022 MTV VMAs, or the floral appliqué mock neck mini at the 2021 Grammys. But she has also shown their independent brand Monse some love, rocking their UFO dress at the 2024 VMAs. It seems that she’ll follow Kim and Garcia wherever they go.
Why we think she’d choose them: At Oscar de la Renta, Kim and Garcia proved that they were more than capable of busting out a dramatic ballgown. Though they stepped back from ODLR in September to focus on Monse, we have no doubt they could do their big one for Swift.
