What a weekend for sports fans, huh? Between the 2026 FIFA World Cup kicking off and the New York Knicks becoming NBA champions, there was some serious state-hopping excitement. Even celebrities could not help but get right in the middle of all the action: ardent fans Timothée Chalamet and Spike Lee sat courtside at the Knicks game last night, for one, while a star-studded World Cup watch party for Team USA vs. Paraguay was held at Alba in Los Angeles. (Team USA won.)

Amongst the A-list crowd at the World Cup viewing party? Stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Vittoria Ceretti, Halle Berry, Becky G, and Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin, among others. And while all of the attendees channeled sporty style in some way—many wearing pieces repping Team USA’s stars and stripes motif—it was Palvin who stole the show, thanks to her slick maternity style.

The Hungarian model stepped out for the festivities in a slinky black maxi skirt and zipped-up jacket, the bottom half left unzipped to expose her baby bump. (A very Rihanna styling move.) For more of an athletic-inspired touch, Palvin also carried a Raising Cane’s duffel bag with a stars-and-stripe scarf attached to it. (The event was hosted by the food chain.) Her husband Sprouse, meanwhile, complemented her in a matching all-black getup.

Palvin has been nailing the art of mom-to-be style since announcing her pregnancy at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival last month, of course: It’s not just her off-duty style that has been head-turning. When the star stepped onto the Cannes steps, she wore a variety of flowing, romantic red carpet gowns that enhanced her growing baby bump—proving that a maternity wardrobe can still be glamorous and paparazzi-ready. And now, she’s clearly shifting gears and doing sporty style for the World Cup. With a month left of games still, perhaps we will see a few more soccer-ready outfits from Palvin. Perhaps a cropped little soccer jersey next?
