Millie Bobby Brown is a certified beauty chameleon, especially when it comes to her hair. The actor stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (June 25), wearing her long dark hair in a half-up, half-down style with a deep side part and a bun positioned on the crown of her head.
The hairstyle, created by her go-to hairstylist Pete Burkill, was one of the three crafted for a slew of Enola Holmes 3 press events this week. The others included a low, princessy braid with face-framing pieces for the red carpet premiere, and relaxed waves swept under a bandana—one of the season’s hottest hair accessories—for the after-party.

The half-up, half-down look has had a particularly strong showing this year, with stars like Charli XCX, Zoë Kravitz, and Amanda Seyfried each wearing it to this year’s Met Gala. On Millie, though, Burkill played with dimension and height, adding the illusion of layers by letting longer lengths out of the twisted bun. The cascading lengths and directions of hair added some depth, making her hair color look even more sumptuous and glossy as an added effect.
MBB’s sleek ’do paired well with her flowing, summery Roberto Cavalli dress in sunset shades of orange, pink, red, and purple (styled by Summer Lahti), and glowy, sunblushed glam by makeup artist Buster Knight.

For her part, the Stranger Things alum and Florence By Mills mogul isn’t afraid to try new things. She’s transformed from a brunette to a bombshell blonde and a redhead, and has had everything from a pixie cut to waist-length waves, a few chin-length bobs, and her current longer, relaxed cut. The only mystery left to solve is what Millie Bobby Brown will do next.
