The 71st annual Ivor Novello Awards took place in London last night, celebrating the craft of songwriting and composing. Peer-judged, it’s a night where some of the buzziest emerging and most formidable established artists come together. Harry Styles and Rosalía among them.
Styles hopped over the English Channel from his multi-night Together, Together tour residency in Amsterdam for the occasion—already, a history-making, record-breaking event. Rosalía traveled over during a brief spell between her European tour and the start of the North American leg.
The Catalan superstar won a new award—international songwriter of the year—for her genre-hopping, multi-lingual, experimental record LUX. The Ivors Academy said she had “pushed the boundaries of global songwriting and experimental pop.”
On stage at London’s Grosvenor House, she championed diverse writers and music, the “countless outstanding writers which will not be recognized as they deserve because they aren’t middle-class white Europeans, whose upbringing has been sufficiently stable for them to turn a hint of talent into a successful career.”
Styles was a surprise guest, and presented Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke with the highest accolade of the night, the Academy Fellowship.
Both stars donned their slinkiest and sleekest. Rosalía opted for a custom Calvin Klein Collection dress, made in draped black duchess silk with a caped bodice worn off the shoulder, and a column skirt. It was inspired by the fall 2026 runway look 50. She paired it with pale pink stiletto pumps with a curved vamp. Her hair was corkscrew curled and worn in an elegant up-do.

Look 50 on the Calvin Klein Collection fall 2026 runway inspired the star’s custom look.
Styles, meanwhile, wore Yves Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello—a favorite of his now-fiancé Zoë Kravitz, who is a house ambassador. The Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally singer wore a white striped shirt with a sheer knit sweater that featured braided detailing down the front, paired with black suit trousers cinched with a leather belt, and black leather shoes.
On tour, Harry Styles—styled by Harry Lambert—has been sporting a variety of custom looks in primary colors with fun accessories: a bow-adorned Valentino blazer by his friend Alessandro Michele, a custom blue, orange, yellow combo from Prada and Cartier, and a groovy floral neck-tie and sculptural pants care of Celine.

For her slew of European dates, Rosalía embraced the angelic, in bridal-like Vivienne Westwood corsetry and pink Daniil Antsiferov lingerie. On the press tour for LUX, stuck to her heaven-ready white color scheme, in custom floaty Dior and feathery Schiaparelli, sinewy, sheer Dilara Findikoglu fall 2024, and sweet Chanel.
Both stars’s tours will then run in tandem across the summer, so expect more imaginative sartorial takes to come from the pop history makers.
