Start your countdown clocks because we are T-minus one week away from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding. The pair are reportedly tying the knot at Madison Square Garden on July 3. While we have many questions about putting on an MSG wedding, we’re even more curious about what Swift will wear (though, we have our guesses).
Still, while we imagine Swift will have no shortage of bridal looks to carry her through her wedding day, we have some ideas of our own. After all, the pop superstar needs a look to match the caliber of her sparkling, brilliant-cut old mine diamond.
One thing we know about Swift: she loves a corset. She is also a demonstrated fan of Vivienne Westwood, whose wedding dresses have captured the hearts of fellow celebrity brides Charli xcx and Demi Lovato. But if Swift wants to take corsetry in a different direction, she could turn to Jackson Wiederhoeft, who is quickly becoming a fashion bride favorite. Or, she could tap Ludovic de Saint Sernin, who offered some wedding-friendly dresses with his stint as guest designer for Jean Paul Gaultier’s spring 2025 couture collection.
We’d also love to see Swift dive into the archives for her wedding festivities. Perhaps she could turn to one of Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel brides of yore, or maybe she—like everyone else who watched Love Story—was swayed by the elegant simplicity of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy’s Narciso Rodriguez dress. Or she could always stick with Ralph Lauren, who made her engagement dress.
In the past, we’ve dreamt up looks that Swift should wear for her birthday party or the Golden Globes. But her wedding is the highest stakes yet. Below, see some of Vogue’s unsolicited suggestions for what Taylor Swift should wear to her wedding.
