Camille Perry and Holly Wright are in constant dialogue, season to season, with the Tove woman. Soft proportions, precise lines, and fluid fabrications propel a feeling of continuous motion—this woman has places to be, and this collection must contour her life as much as her body.

For resort 2027, they responded to her more sensual side with a most confident collection. Among signature draped skirts, a solid suite of knitwear, Carrie Bradshaw-coded ruched mini-dresses, and impeccably tailored pleat-backed shirts were new silhouettes. First up was a delicate crinkled mandarin collar jacket, and supple leather outerwear pieces. Collapsing necklines, tops with asymmetric tendrils, and rippling bell sleeves denoted some light sex appeal with just as much ease.

What keeps Tove ahead of the more minimal leaning brands is its allegiance to an intellectual streak of femme, expressing the female form in interesting flashes of skin and subversive slinkiness that resist romance. There were gentle suggestions for styling—like a white pleated fine jersey top styled with a bralette underneath, and the return of the bow waist on skirt, pants, and dresses. A brilliant rivuleted gold velvet fabric appeared as a longline bandeau top, body-skimming dress, and midi skirt styled with a clavicle-sweeping cashmere sweater. Standout colors included a raspberry red cast on chinos, a ripe orange as a gathered dress, and pops of purple and “dirty lilac.”

“A balance of femininity and modernity is important to us,” Wright said. “Our woman appreciates versatility—and finding pieces to both dress up and down can actually be quite difficult. I think with us she has that grip on reality and in that she looks chic.” The next step is their own permanent brick-and-mortar space soon to come in London. “The collections have evolved so much,” said Perry, “everyone wants to come see the world. Our focus is building that backdrop.”
