Ten-Hut! Margot Robbie’s New Look Has Our Attention

Margot Robbie has a dynamite new look: the Napoleon jacket.

At the West End premiere of the play 1536 in London today, the actor traded in her bespoke Chanel Met Gala dress for something a little more casual. Robbie opted for an on-trend black coattailed military jacket with swirling gold embroidery from McQueen’s spring 2026 collection.

Robbie stayed mostly true to the styling, pairing the pants with the same ultra-low-rise trousers it was paired with on the runway. While McQueen’s creative director Seán McGirr originally showed the look sans shirt, Robbie made a sensible update and wore it over a black cropped top. She finished off the look with a pair of black pointy-toe shoes and a black leather clutch.

While the look is largely associated with Kate Moss (and, well, Napoleon, obviously), it’s picking up steam on the runway and among celebrities. At the Dior spring 2026 show last fall, Jenna Ortega wore a fitted Napoleon vest, which she dressed down with a frayed denim miniskirt.

Dua Lipa is also all aboard the trend: in January, she took to Instagram, modeling a red Ann Demeulemeester jacket from spring 2026. She opted for a pair of denim shorts in place of the diaphanous celadon dress that walked the runway, though she kept the brown moto boots.

With an endorsement from Margot Robbie, Jenna Ortega, and Dua Lipa, there’s no question about the return of the Napoleon jacket. But can they make tricorn hats a thing?
