The Queen of Cannes has returned to the Croisette!

While we may be used to Bella Hadid gracing the Cannes Film Festival in sculptural Schiaparelli lungs or dress code-defying Saint Laurent, the model switched into le mode sportif for her arrival.

Still, while she may be dressed down, don’t expect Hadid’s sportswear to be anything less than a fashion moment. The model—who recently made her Prada debut for fall 2026 (and walked the runway four times at that)—opted for a set from the spring 1999 collection.

Hadid chose a light grayish blue mock-neck vest and matching knee-length pants bearing the signature red line of Prada’s diffusion line, Prada Sport, which launched in 1998—an early entrant into the luxury athleisure category. Though nearly 30-years-old, the vintage pairing looked utterly contemporary. The styling certainly helped: Hadid added a pair of metallic silver Puma Speedacts—the sneaker beloved by fellow fashion-forward celebrities, including Rihanna and Jennifer Lawrence.

While Bella Hadid has yet to hit the red carpet at Cannes, her sporty vintage Prada set is a tantalizing curtain-raiser.
