24 Best Airbnb Los Angeles: The Most Stylish Spots to Stay in 2026
Nicole Klies · 2026-04-28 · via Vogue

Los Angeles is a bit of a geographic anomaly. It stretches across 500 square miles of mountains, valleys, and coastline, making deciphering the best location to stay a perplexing task for first-time visitors. There’s the luxury shopping on Rodeo Drive, the walkable charm of Larchmont Village, the historic landmarks along Sunset Boulevard, the seafood shacks down Pacific Coast Highway, and the retro flair throughout Silver Lake and Los Feliz. So many microcosms in just one city. But fret not: the best Airbnbs in Los Angeles can help streamline the decision process.

Perhaps your most important choice when selecting a Los Angeles Airbnb is which side of town you’d like to base yourself in. While by no means a scientific dividing line (and you can certainly maneuver your way throughout town to your heart’s content), deciding whether you’ll stay on the east side or the west side is helpful in narrowing down your options. If you’re interested in going to the beach multiple days in a row, for example, it wouldn’t be wise to stay in, say, Echo Park. The neighborhood you pick won’t completely define your L.A. experience—but it will play a lead role in it.

The Best Los Angeles Airbnbs, According to Vogue:

Keeping this in mind, see below for 24 standouts peppered across the city's most covetable neighborhoods. Whether you want a bohemian enclave tucked in Topanga Canyon's forested hillsides, or a buzzy Hollywood Hills modernist mansion, there's a home to fit your West Coast wanderlust ideal.

Rustic Treetop Cabin

This Airbnb—a private, cabin-like space with one bedroom and a kitchenette whose host is a Hollywood producer-slash-cameraman—is on the humble side space-wise. Yet, nestled high up in Beachwood Canyon, its reviewers often compare it to a treehouse. (If, well, a treehouse had crisp white-and-natural wood interiors and a sprawling view of Los Angeles from the hills to the ocean.)

Close to both Griffith Park and Brush Canyon Trail (that’s the one you hike to see the Hollywood sign), it’s perfect for those interested in exploring Los Angeles's more relaxed, nature-and-wellness side. Grab lunch at nearby Beachwood Café.

No wonder it was once the subject of famed architectural photographer Julius Shulman. One bonus: The host, a choreographer and dancer who once had a stint on Dancing with the Stars, offers a full concierge service.

Rooms: 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms

Amenities: Patio, backyard, hot tub, parking
