It’s hot out there, and you can’t be thinking too hard about what you’re wearing. So Rihanna has a simple solution: the bandeau sweatsuit.

A relic of the mid ’00s (and the ’80s before that, of course), the sporty boob-tube topped, jumpsuit-cum-sweatsuit was once a fixture in the wardrobes of R&B and pop superstars, as well as workout VHS divas. It’s a simple, yet statement-making ‘one and done’ look that might have been styled with XXL hoop earrings and Isabel Marant wedge sneakers at one time, Keds and scrunchies another.

Rihanna, however, kept things more low-key for a spot of shopping at Maison Goyard in Beverly Hills. The singer and Fenty mogul wore a dark raspberry pink jumpsuit with a strapless top and gathered, elasticated waist, accented with a pale pink sporty stripe up the side. Cropped and gathered at the ankles, she wore pale pink low-profile sneakers on her feet. Rih accessorized with a medallion necklace and layers of gold chains, bracelets, and rings, including pieces from her favorite Bryony Raymond. She also added a coordinating pair of pink-lensed aviators.

As for glam, things were also more pared back, with her long hair worn loose and straight in a middle part.

Rihanna runs the gamut when it comes to her off-duty, pop-star-on-extended-leave looks. She’ll often sport some Ugg Tasman slippers and a trusty Miu Miu baseball cap, paired with gray shell suits. When wanting to look a little more polished, she’ll opt for a Dior trench and her favorite Dior book tote.
