Hailey Bieber Clocks a Winning Vintage Color Combo at Coa...

Coachella weekend one saw Bieberchella hit in full force: Justin Bieber on the mainstage, Hailey Bieber hosting her Rhode World pop-up, a couples pimple patches collab, pals in Bieber merch old and new.

What people wear at Coachella sets the tone for the start of festival season—so what did Mrs. Bieberchella pull out for the occasion? A 1998 Christian Dior slip dress in a sunny gold-yellow with a fuchsia-trim—sourced and purchased by her stylist Dani Michelle from celebrity archive fashion fave Tab Vintage. She paired the colorful slip with sky blue, thick-strapped mules. Her now-long and layered, teddy brown hair (which we saw Bieber prep earlier in the week) added to the fun, flirty, feminine vibe.

More and more, celebrities have been turning away from the maximal, festival-ready looks of yore (the mid ’10s) in favor of more minimalist looks, or, choosing to focus on one singular statement vintage piece to pull their outfit together. Last year, Bieber herself opted for a vintage, oxblood and flame-striped Mugler corset with simple black tailored pants.

This weekend’s look complemented Bieber’s Rhode World pop-up color palette, referencing the shades of her latest product drop. Color-blocking has grown as a trend, inspired by the more playful side of late ’90s fashion, but also the bubble-gum brights on the spring 2026 runways of Bottega Veneta, Vaquera, and Diesel.

L.A.-based Tab Vintage, founded by Alexis Novak, finds devoted fans in Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Olivia Rodrigo, and Bella Hadid for their stock of rare pieces from Givenchy, Marc Jacobs–era Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Bob Mackie, and more, and often will also dresses the brides that find themselves in Vogue. Bieber has previously scored archive ’90s Thierry Mugler couture from Tab.

Spotted out and about in the festival grounds with Kendall, the Rhode founder opted for a more low-key and practical look that fits right in with another chapter of the Hailey Bieber style playbook: a black CSB leisure tank with a cream cardigan, shiny black cargo pants, merlot-toned gathered flats by Phoebe Philo, and a By Far patent Billy shoulder bag.

Dior—vintage and Johnathan Anderson-era—had a strong presence across Coachella’s first weekend: mainstage performer Sabrina Carpenter wore some very Cher-coded custom Dior, including a sequin-covered red mini dress with capped sleeves, a boudoir-inspired fringed bra top, and a black lacy bodysuit with a sculptural cape. Ethel Cain employed a very different vibe from the Dior atelier, in gothic, layered pinstripe overalls scattered with loose threads.

We’re not even halfway through Coachella festivities yet, but you can bet Hailey Bieber et al have many, many more looks to pull out.
