Dua Lipa and Callum Turner’s weddings (plural!) have been quite the spectacle: Big love, big names, and big fashion. The 30-year-old singer and 36-year-old actor were officially married on Sunday, May 31, in a private civil wedding in London, for which the bride wore a custom Schiaparelli couture skirt suit and white-brimmed hat as an homage to Bianca Jagger. And last weekend, the couple held a three-day Italian wedding extravaganza, with even more looks to see.

At the Friday night welcome drinks in Palermo, Sicily, Lipa wore a white leather dress by Bottega Veneta, a custom halterneck gown that featured an open back and the house’s signature intrecciato weave, with a feathery skirt. She accessorized with a matching feathery clutch and gold Bulgari jewelry. At a wedding brunch on Sunday, the newlywed opted for a sheer, custom Chloé dress made of floral lace, paired with a whimsical swan purse from the fashion house.

And now, she has revealed what she wore for the main event on Saturday: a feather and crystal-embellished Chanel haute couture gown. The dress featured an intricate low back and fell into a sweeping, feather-dappled train. Lipa also wore a feather-detailed headpiece and a long embroidered veil. Her wedding dress is the first Chanel haute couture wedding dress designed by Matthieu Blazy for a friend of the house, as per Chanel.

The dress was handcrafted in the ateliers at 31, Rue Cambon in Paris, with several contributions by various maisons d’art for its detailed embellishments—entirely hand-embroidered with 480,000 beads by Atelier Montex, and featuring trompe l’oeil jewels requiring 1,155 hours of needlework by Lesage. The dress—with a two-meter train—was also delicately underlined with 25,000 feathers by Lemarié. Meanwhile, her six-meter tulle wedding veil was hand-embroidered with beads and feathers, and enhanced by hand-cut organza appliqués. To complete the look, white satin pumps were custom-made by Massaro. Turner wore a custom Louis Vuitton suit.

The singer dropped several photos of herself with her new husband on Instagram—shot by renowned photographer David Sims—as well as pictures of the reception festivities.

While we still don’t know much about the wedding ceremony itself, the main ceremony reportedly took place at Villa Valguarnera, an 18th-century mansion known as “little Versailles.” According to Vanity Fair, Elton John performed “Your Song,” and guests were served a dinner of local specialties such as anelletti alla Norma (baked pasta), panelle (Sicilian chickpea fritters), and crocché (croquettes), as well as cassata and cannoli for dessert.

Among the couple’s high-profile wedding guests were Donatella Versace, Joe Alwyn, Olivia Dean, Charli xcx, Mark Ronson, Grace Gummer, Tame Impala singer Kevin Parker, and more.

Lipa has already proven herself to be this year’s ultimate cool-girl bride. But more than that, what comes through in the wedding photos is that the couple seems radiantly happy. Turner recently told The Hollywood Reporter that he is creatively inspired by his now-wife. “You want to be inspired by the person you’re with,” he said. And though the couple’s careers require them to travel a lot, they manage all of it by being intentional in their approach to scheduling. He said: “We make sure that we’re together as much as possible.”

On the bride’s part, when she revealed their engagement to British Vogue last summer, she said she was particularly obsessed with her engagement ring. “It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well,” she said. The couple met around 2023 in London, and reconnected with mutual friends in Los Angeles, where they realized they were reading the same book: Trust by Hernan Diaz. They had both finished the same chapter, and Turner joked: “So we’re on the same page.”

It’s safe to say they were. Dua Lipa also told British Vogue: “This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever—it’s a really special feeling.” Congratulations to the newlyweds!
