How the Armra Colostrum Soda Reimagines the Functional Be...
Kiana Murden · 2026-04-29 · via Vogue

For the most part, my mornings always start the same: hit snooze on my alarm at least twice, make my bed, do my qigong, and take a scoop of my Armra colostrum. If any of these steps are missed, my day goes out of whack; though missing my go-to supplement has the most daunting impacts. I will preach to anyone who will listen that I only get sick when I’ve for whatever reason stopped taking my colostrum (maybe I’ve ran out or I’ve been rushing, oops). So, sticking to a strict routine has become essential to my morning mojo—in addition to my health.

As often as I told myself I’d eventually drink the travel sachet powder, I inevitably wouldn’t. Now, for these hectic days, I can turn to the new Armra Colostrum Soda, available to shop exclusively for Vogue readers today. “The powder built something powerful—a deliberate, at-home morning ritual that a lot of people feel genuinely attached to,” Armra founder Sarah Rahal, MD tells Vogue. “What this format does is take that benefit system off the countertop and into the rest of your day.” The amount of colostrum in one scoop of the powder is inside the 12 ounce soda can—delivering equal benefits in a convenient on-the-go format. “Chilled, carbonated, with flavor profiles that are genuinely craveable. It’s a different sensory experience but the same foundational support.”

Colostrum Soda Variety 12-Pack

  • Why We Love It: Through this clean, carbonated colostrum soda, Armra reimagines the functional beverage. Crafted for immunity, gut, and metabolic benefits (among other things), this delivers 400+ nutrients in every 12 ounce can to enhance anyone’s lifestyle at home or on-the-go.
  • Key Ingredients: Grass-fed and calf-first sourced bovine colostrum, Cold-Chain BioPotent Pasteurization Technology, 400+ bioactive nutrients (including peptides, whey protein, immunoglobulins, and growth factors)
  • Flavors: Huckleberry, Spicy Lime, Pear Ginger, Pomelo Basil (three flavors per variety pack)
  • Size: 12 fl. oz / 12 cans per variety pack

Rather than creating this as a simple extension of the Armra brand, Dr. Rahal and team wanted to create a new format that met the same standard as the brand’s other products; turning it into a soda required strategic R&D. “The integrity of the ingredient in liquid form isn’t guaranteed,” she says. “It had to be engineered. We’re confident we got there, and that’s what made the timing right to launch.”

As the first form of milk produced by the mammary glands of humans and other mammals, colostrum, colostrum is rich in antibodies and antioxidants that per nurse practitioner Liliana Lopez, has been studied for its immune-boosting, anti-inflammatory, and regenerative effects in adults. “It acts like a blueprint for resilience, helping the body defend itself while enhancing skin vitality, muscle recovery, and overall wellness,” she previously told Vogue in my initial review of the Armra colostrum powder after taking it daily for six months. To be more specific, this soda includes matrix of over 400 bioactive nutrients—think peptides, immunoglobulins, and whey protein—for whole-body benefits suited for everything from immune and gut health to energy, skin, and hair benefits.

Wellbeing aside, the Armra team refused to sacrifice on flavor. At launch, there are four flavors to choose from that read like a bespoke cocktail menu—Spicy Lime, Huckblerry, Pomelo Basil, and Pear Ginger (each of which is included in the now-available variety pack). “The experience has to be the reason people reach for it, and the benefits are what make them never want to stop,” Dr. Rahal explains. “If people are going to reach for this over something they already love, it has to win on taste first, not just feel like the responsible choice.” That way, people come back for great taste while quietly reaping all the benefits Armra is known for.

One of the things I love most about Armra is that it’s truly suited for any time of the day; a functional benefit that this soda amplifies. “The goal isn’t to mimic soda. It’s to give people something more interesting to come back to, and one that’s also quietly doing something meaningful for their body every time they do.”
