Hailey Biebers DIY Nail Art Is a Summer Mani Trend To Watch

Hailey Bieber is reminiscing about her recent trip to South Korea, a jaunt spent shopping, drinking crispy Diet Cokes, cafe and bar-hopping with pals. What we spotted, though, in her IG dump? Some spotty, swirling nail art.

“Yes I do do this nail art on myself and yes I will be taking appointments,” she joked on Instagram Stories. The Rhode beauty mogul sported a mid-length, almond-shaped nail (her signature silhouette of choice) in a milky latte brown shade, with watercolor-like blue circles in the middle of each digit. Some of the blue dots were lightly diffused, with swirling tails.

It’s a low-effort nail design, requiring little need for much precision or technique, while still looking done and polished. A juicy topcoat keeps it neat and unchippable. It hits all the right notes of a good Hailey Bieber manicure, too: clean, but statement-making. And it’s also quite practical: the base shade is earthy and natural, so any growth that might have happened while Bieber was the trip (when she might not necessarily have had the time to get her nails as regularly done) wouldn’t have been so noticeable.

Hailey’s Bieberchella nails were imbued with meaning: pink with black dots representing the Swag 1 and 2 albums, green with yellow inspired by the Brazilian flag, and red with white inspired by the Canadian flag.

Whether it’s a daisy nail art with diamanté details in springtime, navy blue to mark the arrival of her new baby boy, or cinnamon chrome to celebrate the launch of her Peptide Lip Tint, over the years, Bieber has proved that she loves to play with a theme. Usually, she looks to celebrity nail artist Zola Ganzorigt: most recently that was her glossy Met Gala set and a classic red nail at the Vanity Fair 2026 Oscar Party, a meaningful Bieberchella mani, fruity decals, and of course, that iconic doughnut glaze.

Nail trends across spring and into summer have signaled some diverging style shifts. While many celebrities have been embracing the naked manicure and the chrome trend has softened, there’s been a return to maximalist shades and cutesy nail art. Hailey Bieber’s DIY set oscillates at this intersection—a clean and neutral set with a simple splash of color. One to test out yourself at home, or save for your next appointment with your nail tech.
